I have decided that this is an Australian perfume. There isn't much to go on except a gut feeling and the fact that the base of the bottle bears the marks for Australian Glass Manufacturers AGM 1930 - 1980.
I don't know which perfume company produced it at this stage.
Probably named after a film which was released in 1931, or a remake from 1938 there were 3 other perfumes with the same name. One by Evyan, another by Norman Hartnell and a third by a company called Harad.
