German Silver compact
A central cartouche has the initials MET. I love things with initials, the initials are part of the history of an item and a real link between the previous owner and me. The cover design of 4 enamelled corners with a pink rose in each. This is german silver and it doesn't ever appear to have been used. Inside there are 2 circular spaces, one small for rouge and another slightly larger for powder. There are also two spaces for tiny and I mean tiny lipsticks. The cover for one lipstick is still in place as are the two puffs. The round glass mirror is in good condition. c. 1920s No makers mark.
